Designer Spotlight Series: Beth Sink of Claude & Coy Interiors

Meet Beth Sink

Claude & Coy Interiors is known for their "traditional with a twist" style that is a wonderful combination of traditional and modern. Beth Sink, owner and operator of C&C, loves to mix textural elements, play on patterns, and work with unexpected colors to create a timeless, versatile home. With a rambunctious 5 year old under my roof, Beth knows what it takes to make your house a home … that special place where your kids make memories and you look forward to coming home at the end of each and every long day. Claude & Coy’s interiors are approachable, colorful, happy, comfortable, and, most of all, lovable.

What is your favorite EH pattern and why?

"Della Dot!! I love a small scale on pillows, chairs, lampshades, ceilings, etc. The pattern is limitless in my opinion. Stay tuned for how C&C just use this pattern in the Marine colorway!"

What's your thought process behind choosing textiles in a room?

"I like to ensure I have a variety of textures in each room. I usually pull my largest scale pattern - the hero pattern - and work from there."

How do you feel about mixing color and pattern?

"I have so many feelings about it ... it's a MUST and we do it in every design we touch for that uniquely layered, collected look."

What's one thing you would suggest to someone looking to quickly and easily freshen up a room?

"Wallpaper, paint the trim, buy some fabric lampshades, and get some new throw pillows for that perfectly quick refresh."

Do you see any advantages of working with smaller textiles lines?

"YES! For C&C, I like smaller textile lines because they are unique. Their lines allow us to create a more curated and artistic palette in our designs. 10/10 ... highly recommend!"

Thank you, Beth, for chatting with us and giving us a glimpse into your colorful world!
