Sampling 101
We believe seeing (and feeling!) a fabric or wallpaper sample in person is the best way to understand its color, texture, and scale. Each Elliston House pattern is printed to order, so your sample helps you visualize exactly how it will look in your home or project.
-
Why Sampling Matters
Color and scale can shift depending on lighting, monitor settings, and context — that’s why we always recommend ordering samples before purchasing yardage or rolls.
Holding the sample in your space lets you see how it interacts with your paint colors, furnishings, and natural light throughout the day.
-
What To Expect
Our samples are printed on the same ground as our full-width fabrics and wallpapers, giving you a true-to-life representation of the final product.
Fabric samples: Range from 6x6" to 12x12" depending on the pattern scale
Wallpaper samples: Range from 6x6" to 8x8" depending on the pattern scale
Archive Collection samples: Printed to order on strike-off grounds and priced accordingly
Note: We do not keep inventory of any archived collection samples. Please expect a lead time of approximately 1-3 weeks to receive a sample.
Because each sample is printed individually, small variations in color are normal and part of the beauty of our print-to-order process.
